Bursary Details

Key Facts
- Amount: $10,000 per recipient
- Goal: Reduce financial barriers for incoming Black medical students
- Eligible Institutions: Dalhousie University, Toronto Metropolitan University (TMU), and McGill University
Eligibility
To be considered for the bursary, applicants must:
- Self-identify as Black (including African, Caribbean, African Nova Scotian, or multiracial with Black ancestry)
- Be entering the first year of medical school
- Demonstrate financial need
- Demonstrate community leadership and involvement
